Playgroup For Two's

Children who are eligible for this program must be 2 years old by July. The classes are small, each limited to six children.

Classes meet 2 days per week:
Monday and Wednesday
9:45am to 11:45am
Parents have the option of placing their child(ren) for one day or two days.
Playgroup begins in mid-September and ends in late May.

The 2010 fee for the playgroup is billed monthly from September through May as follows:

1-Day per week: $45.00 per month

2-Days per week: $85.00 per month
A non-refundable registration fee of $25 is due at time of registration.

Nursery School Moms Bake Pies!

On Monday, Nov. 23, six of our GBCNS Moms gathered in the GBC Kitchen to do a little learning of their own! They received a degree in BAKING APPLE PIES through a class led by our office manager, Marilyn Webber! You know what will be on THEIR Thanksgiving tables!

A QUALITY FIRST STEP TO HELP YOUR CHILD’S TOTAL DEVELOPMENT!

To integrate Christian truth in all areas of the child’s investigation of God’s world.
To use a developmental approach to meet the total needs of your child.
To develop readiness in reading, language and math.
To establish routines of physical habits, work habits and self discipline.
To promote growth through creative expression in art, music and movement.
To help your child develop socially by learning to participate in group activities, by sharing and being concerned for others.

Our program is a developmentally appropriate play program where children learn in a process oriented environment. They learn to play and they play to learn!

Stories, songs, fingerplays and art activities are all part of the daily learning experience.
There is a balance between active and quiet activities and indoor and outdoor play.

Field trips and visitors to the classroom provide enrichment to the preschool curriculum.

Snacks and juice are served each day.

Classes are vertically grouped, ages 3-5 combined, under the instruction of a certified teacher and an aide. Individualized instruction is used to meet the unique needs of each child.

Classes meet:

3 days per week: Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 9:30 to 12

4 days per week: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

Schools opens in mid-September and closes in late May.
Extended day program is available on Wednesday

Two tuition options are available:

2010 MONTHLY PLAN

3-Day Program: $1,250 (Payable in 9 installments 9/1 thru 5/1)

4-Day Program: $1,650 (Payable in 9 installments 9/1 thru 5/1)

2010 ANNUAL PLAN

3-Day Program: $1,200 (One payment due 9/1)

4-Day Program: $1,600 (One payment due 9/1)

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $30. Applications may be obtained by calling our office at 215-887-2289.

We encourage parent involvement in the school and ask that they serve as volunteer aides one day a month. Parents may also help with special events and go on field trips.

Our staff are all highly qualified, dedicated people who are experienced in working with young children.
